This week my guest is Joyce Riley, whose documentary, Beyond Treason, shows that Department of Defense documents obtained through the Freedom of Information Act expose the horrific underworld of the disposable army mentality and how government funded experimentation on U.S. citizens has been conducted without their knowledge or consent.

Is the United States knowingly using a dangerous battlefield weapon banned by the United Nations because of its long-term effects on the local inhabitants and the environment? Profiling the disclosure of black-ops projects spanning the past six decades, Beyond Treason also addresses the complex subject of Gulf War Illness. The film includes interviews with experts, both civilian and military, who say that the government is hiding the truth from the public, and that they can prove it.

Joyce Riley is a graduate of the University of Kansas with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She has presented at the National Institutes of Health, and medical legal conferences such as the American Trial Lawyers Association. Ms. Riley also served as a Captain in the United States Air Force and flew on C-130 missions. She now serves as spokesperson for the American Gulf War Veterans Association whose purpose is to provide education and information for the Gulf War veterans and their families. She also co-hosts The Power Hour, a radio program dealing with a wide range of issues including health, wellness, homeopathic treatments, Veterans issues, government fraud, civil liberties, and Gulf War Illness.
