"Bloodline" with director Bruce Burgess and producer Rene Barnett (7/9/2008)

"Bloodline" is riveting right from the start and never lets up. It is beginning to open in more theaters across the country beginning this month. Check for more information about the film.

“Bloodline” is a documentary into the so-called ‘bloodline conspiracy” that claims Jesus Christ married Mary Magdalene, who escaped to the south of France following his crucifixion, with their child. The movie follows a three year investigation into what some believe is the greatest cover up of all time, a story made popular by The Da Vinci Code. The film uncovers new evidence, including artifacts and a mummified corpse and takes us deep into the mysterious and dangerous world of the secret society known as the Priory of Sion, which is said to be behind it all.

Bruce says, "this is my raw, personal journey to get closer to the truth about a subject that has huge implications for us all". Rene adds, "we set out to see if evidence that Jesus and Mary Magdalene were married and came to France really did exist , and whether this Priory of Sion was, in fact, real, or just a hoax. What we ultimately found was both shocking and controversial".
