He was commissioned to compose the music for the world's first interactive planetarium production with Star Wars creator George Lucas and the Hayden Planetarium in New York City. His music has been heard in literally hundreds of theaters worldwide.


Jonn's latest release, Thousand Star, is an epic voyage to the farthest reaches of deep space. It plays like a science fiction novel, told with music and sound design elements. His first release, And The Stars Go With You has become a classic space music recording, selling over two hundred fifty thousand copies.
Serrie was selected by the planetarium industry to compose the music for NASA's Teacher In Space program in September, 1986. Jonn created this album out of the music he had composed to honor the courageous individuals who perished on the program's inaugural mission. The music was specifically featured for the premier show at the opening ceremony for the Christa McAuliffe Planetarium in Concord, New Hampshire in 1988. Christa's parents were the guests of honor that day.
